The Blakeney Cottage Company is the largest independent cottage company in North Norfolk. Large enough to have the facilities and infrastructure to seamlessly look after all aspects of the management of your property, yet small enough to offer the personal touch we are well known for and so proud of.
Our emphasis is offering a fully bespoke, personal service to both owners and guests alike, a service that larger corporate owned companies simply can’t achieve. Owning a couple of holiday properties in Norfolk ourselves, we are especially aware of owners concerns when considering offering their cottage for holiday letting. This has enabled us to structure our business to ensure that the best possible care will be taken of your home in all situations.
A lot of our property owners come to us via personal recommendation which is, for us, the most gratifying route. It means that we are doing a good job and our management skills are competent and well appreciated.

We understand the importance of flexibility to our owners… so whilst we offer three main levels of management we can also build completely bespoke management packages to suit any individual owners needs. Below is an overview of some of what we offer.
Fully-managed service…
- All guest liaison before and during booking and full aftercare following booking
- Management of all cleaning, linen and essential sundry items
- Management of any maintenance required during or between bookings
- Free professional photography inc. drone shots if required
- Free 24/7, 365 day a year after hour call out service for guests and owners
- Provision of guest ‘local produce’ welcome packs at no cost to owner
- Property checks before or after guest stays
- Listing on The Blakeney Cottage Company website
- Booking finance management and itemised monthly statements
- Maximise your return: listing and management on our affiliate letting portals inc. Airbnb, booking.com, VRBO, Google rentals etc. (£25 pcm)
- Access to log in to The Blakeney Cottage Companies owners portal
- Regular features on The Blakeney Cottage Company social media channels
- Access to local discounts and offers from our friends (shops, cafes, restaurants etc.)
- Priority access and discounts with our sister building/landscaping company Juniper PPM if required
- Compliance management – we manage the services required on an on-going basis to meet legislation:
- Electrical Instalation Condition Reporting (EICR).
- Fire Risk Assesments (FSRA).
- Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) where required.
- Fire safety equipment servicing/checks.
- Chimney sweeping
- Boiler servicing
- Gas safety certificates
- Periodical property reports to feedback information on your property and and actions required
- Management of ongoing maintenance requirements:
- Gardening services.
- Window cleaning.
