The main living space on the ground floor area is semi-open plan. It is effectively made up of three rooms, a good size kitchen, a huge, spectacular dining/living room and a smaller sitting room. Two sets of bi-folding doors mean that this wonderful space can be completely open or split of in to separate rooms. The dining area sits adjacent to the kitchen and has a good sized Oak table and 6 chairs. Both the sitting area in the vast dining/living room and the separate sitting room have large LED SMART TV’s as well their own access to the garden via large French doors making perfect split areas for adults and children. The size of the fabulous wood burning stove is certainly fitting… big enough to heat the whole of this wonderful open-plan living space it makes fora spectacular centre piece.
The kitchen area is superbly equipped as you would expect in a high end holiday let. There is a huge amount of storage as well as a dishwasher and large fridge freezer integrated in to the painted units. The high quality range cooker is the finishing touch making this kitchen a home cooks paradise!
The house has been designed with a less mobile guest in mind. Ramp access from outside, in to the property and the large open plan areas mean the house is very wheel chair friendly. There is a good sized, comfortable ground floor bedroom with a king sized bed and en-suite bath room with ‘walk-in’ bath and shower above.
Upstairs there are two more bedrooms; another kingsized room and a twin, both are a good size and both have plenty of storage. There is also a beautifully finished family shower room on the second floor with a lovely walk in shower.
The enclosed garden at Lorcot is a wonderful addition to the property because it is very private and not overlooked at all. Three separate sets of French doors open on to the garden which has two patio areas, ideal for alfresco dining with table chairs and BBQ. There is also a lovely lawned area which has a gorgeous rural outlook over fields towards famous Salthouse Church making it a very special place to relax and enjoy your holiday in Norfolk.
