We are delighted to be able to add this lovely three bedroom cottage to our portfolio of beautiful places to stay in Blakeney, North Norfolk. 74 High Street is situated just off the High Street on a pretty little ‘loke’ in the heart of the village, just a short stroll to the Quay. This much-loved, family cottage boasts living space of generous proportions; ideal for evening meals and socialising. The owners have painstakingly created a wonderful and much loved second home retreat that offers the ideal accommodation for families or couples looking for a break on the North Norfolk coast.
One enters the property through the charming stable doors into a small entrance hallway off which is the kitchen, main living space and a handy ground floor WC. The main living space is lined with four large, ornate sash windows making it a lovely light bright area. It is an L shaped room comprising of a dining/reception area with a fabulous antique dining table that could comfortably seat 8 and two stylish, retro bamboo reading chairs and footstool. The lovely sitting area has a pair of most comfortable sofas adjacent to each other and focusing on the huge log burning stove which makes a superb focal point of the room and is a wonderful feature in the colder months. There is underfloor heating on the ground floor and lovely traditional style column radiators on the first floor so the 74 is warm and cosy whether you choose to light the fire or not! There is a LED SMART TV with Blu-Ray and free superfast broadband for your convenience.

The kitchen with its hand-painted units under hardwood work surfaces is well equipped with high-end appliances such as the Gaggenau oven and induction hob, large Meile fridge freezer, Meile washer/drier and Siemens integrated dishwasher. Stairs lead up from the kitchen to the first floor.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a good-sized bathroom. The master bedroom is a really large room with a wonderfully comfortable super king (6ft) and plenty of built-in storage. There is also a good-sized room with a kingsized bed and lastly a twin room. The bathroom has a goodsized tub with ‘rain’ shower above and a separate handheld shower.
Externally the shingled hollyhock lined ‘loke’ leads back from the High Street and right at the back is what our office manager describes as ’74’s secret garden’. This lovely little walled outdoor space is hidden away from the world behind a large gate and is an ideal place to enjoy BBQ’s or drinks with friends. A parking permit is provided for our guests allowing them to park in nearby Harbour Room car park free of charge for the duration of their stay.
The owners of 74 High Street have thought of everything to ensure that their guests have a wonderful holiday experience. The quality of this cottage will appeal to our discerning guests and with its prime position in the heart of the beautiful village of Blakeney, we are certain 74 High Street will become a firm favourite with guests returning again and again.
*Please note, the owners of this property do occasionally visit with their own dogs so this property is not suitable for guests with pet-allergens.
