Melrose House is the ultimate coastal retreat situated in the sought after coastal village of Blakeney. This beautifully styled, much-loved home is just a short stroll from a wonderful selection of eateries, cafes, boutique shops and characterful buildings. Jump in the car and you are only a 10-15 minute drive from some of the most stunning beaches the UK has to offer. Originally the village custom house, this listed property has been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard yet retains many of the characterful features of its history. With high quality furnishings and a fresh, neutral interior design throughout, we are sure Melrose House will be a firm favourite with our guests!

On entrance to the property you are greeted with a light and airy entrance hallway leading to a wonderful open-plan kitchen/dining room. This sociable room is the ‘hub’ of the house and is the ideal space for family to gather and enjoy a home-cooked meal together. A door leads out to an enclosed courtyard equipped with outdoor seating; simply perfect for al-fresco dining in the summer months.

Back inside, the kitchen is equipped with all the appliances the holiday chef could possibly require including Bosch oven and a separate microwave combi oven, induction hob, large American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso M115 mini Essenza coffee machine (Pods not provided). The large wooden dining table comfortably seats 8 guests.

The separate living room is a calm space with a comfortable corner sofa and two armchairs surrounding a wood burning stove making it the ideal spot to warm up in the winter months after brisk walks along the coastal path which is less than 5 minutes stroll from the property. In the corner of the room is a 49” Smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus etc. Please note you will need your own account to access these apps.

Upstairs on the first floor the relaxing interior theme continues with a lovely master bedroom featuring a comfortable king size bed and plenty of hanging and drawer storage as well as a modern en-suite with a luxurious bath, walk in shower, wash-hand basin and w.c.

The second bedroom has two single beds and plenty of clothes storage. Next to this room is a stylish family shower room with a walk-in shower, wash hand basin and w.c.

Along the landing corridor is a third bedroom with two single beds and its own en-suite shower room equipped with wash-hand basin and w.c.

Upstairs, the owners have converted the attic into a fourth bedroom with a comfortable double bed as well as a sofa for the guests that want to hide away and enjoy a good book in the peace and quiet. This room also features coastal views across the rooftops of Blakeney and for those who still need to work on their holidays, the owners have provided a desk.

Outside there is a courtyard with a wooden table and six chairs. There is a separate washroom housing a washing machine, sink and a handy separate shower, ideal for a quick freshen up after paddling in the Quay!

With its gorgeous furnishings, light and bright rooms and four good sized bedrooms, we are sure our guests will not want to leave this fabulous retreat!
